Civil Weddings in Florence are performed by an Italian official in the Palazzo Vecchio. The Italian government requires certain basic, traditional  wedding  vows to be exchanged and particular articles from the Italian law to be read explaining to the couple what their new marital status will require. Our interpreters translate all of this. Personal additions to the marriage ceremony are permitted, such as readings, music and personalized vows.
